Privacy Notice on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data

This notice is issued by Sönmez Ayakkabı ("Sönmez Ayakkabı" or "we") as data controller under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), to inform visitors of sonmezayakkabi.com (the "Site") and users of the forms on the Site.

2. Personal Data Processed

• Identity and contact data: name, phone number, e-mail address, company name, country/city (via the quotation request form and the contact form).
• Request data: products of interest, estimated quantity, message content.
• Transaction security data: IP address, browser information, date and time of submission, record of KVKK consent.
• Usage data: anonymous visit statistics collected via Google Analytics if you consent to cookies (page views, session duration, approximate location).

3. Purposes and Legal Grounds

• Evaluating your quotation and information requests, sending you quotations and product information, carrying out wholesale and export processes — KVKK Art. 5/2-c: necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract.
• Contacting you about your request (phone, e-mail, WhatsApp) — KVKK Art. 5/2-f: legitimate interest.
• Ensuring Site security, preventing abuse and spam, fulfilling legal obligations — KVKK Art. 5/2-ç and 5/2-f.
• Analysing Site usage to improve our services — KVKK Art. 5/1: your explicit consent (cookie consent).

4. Transfer of Data

Your personal data may be shared, strictly for the purposes above, with our hosting and e-mail infrastructure provider (Hostinger), our website and admin panel service provider (Metaton Marka ve İletişim Danışmanlık A.Ş.), Google Analytics (Google LLC) for visit statistics, and competent public authorities where legally required. Due to hosting and analytics services, your data may be processed on servers located abroad; such transfers are made under KVKK Art. 9.

5. Method of Collection

Your personal data is collected electronically, by automatic or partly automatic means, through the quotation request form and contact form on the Site, when you contact us via WhatsApp or phone, and through cookies.

6. Retention Period

Form records are kept for a maximum of 2 years after your request is concluded; where a commercial relationship is established, for the statutory periods required by applicable law. At the end of the period your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if so, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request deletion or destruction, to request that these actions be notified to third parties, to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

You may submit your requests by e-mail to iletisim@sonmezayakkabi.com or in writing to the postal address above. Requests are concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
